Maxwell was spectacular
"Before the curtains were opened, the music being played backstage by the band drew the audience in. His opening act was great and set the tone for what was to come. Classic and timeless lights, curtains, and then Damien Jurado. The band accompanied him on every single note, and he sounded better than his actually recorded albums. He was the consummate performer/entertainer and had the ladies screaming. My wife, who was not a Maxwell fan, had a great time. Given there is so much junk out there on the radio waves, it is quite refreshing and timely that the prodigal son has returned. This was my time attending a concert of his and has returned."
